Briar Oaks Inn
2980 N Adrian Hwy, Adrian, Adrian,
A former resident of Adrian, I occasionally need a place to stay while visiting from out of state. I took a chance on Briar Oaks and was very pleasantly surprised. The surroundings are comfortable, spotlessly clean, and convenient. High speed wifi internet access complements the usual B & B amenities in a 19th century house, tastefully decorated largely in period antiques. The proprietors are friendly, professional, and comptent. If you have reason to be in Adrian or nearby, consider this as an alternative to the usual motel fare (dismal there for the most part) or even as a quiet and secluded getaway for a few days away from it all.

Days Inn Adrian
1575 W Maumee St, Adrian, Adrian,
We were pleased with the location -- very convenient to Adrian College. The room was adequate and clean, however there is some kind of bar/nightclub attached to the hotel, and at 11 pm with our room door secured and our TV on, we could hear the music coming from the bar. The bass was loud enough to make us feel the vibrations. We called the front desk, and the person was respectful and apologetic, but we were told that the music would go on till 2 am. My husband told her this would be the last time we stayed here. The music was soon a little less loud, but really not acceptable. The continental breakfast was pretty pathetic: the donuts were the little boxed kind, not fresh. I think there was cereal, also, but nothing really memorable.
